Can I choose the font family/colour for pen engraving?

Both the font family and colour cannot be chosen.

The engraving process cut into the surface of the pen, the result varies based on the pen material. The natural colour will show for a metal pen. For example, the silver colour shows for a stainless steel pen. For a pen that has a lacquered finish, the engraving process will cut the lacquer surface and reveal the metal beneath.

Resin and plastic pens can also be engraved but there's no colour variation. Thus they will be filled with acrylic paint (which match to the trim of the pen) to make the engraving stand out.
